New Broader Format At Kurt’s Alt Music Repository
When I launched Kurt’s Alt Music Repository on August 5, 2009, it was an effort to simply catalog my favorite live video performances from the alternative music genre spanning the period from the 1970s to today. KAMR now hosts over fifty such videos and has enjoyed many more visitors than I expected.
But, the initial focus of KAMR was too narrow. I discovered that I was sharing much more music info, beyond just live video performances, at FriendFeed, Facebook and Twitter, which really belonged here, first.
So, starting now, KAMR will feature not only excellent live performances on video, but video debuts, audio tracks, music news and concert information from some of the best alternative bands and performers anywhere.
